Just a few words to let everyone know im still alive.The Dvd will be out within the next 2 months and hopefully i will have a few demo clips here soon.Apologies for the extreme lack of updates here,but to be honest there has been nothing to tell.The calm before the storm i hope.Below is a picture of my new 'Vigier Excalibur'that some of you have been asking to see.Hopefully i will have some better pics soon for you..Little hard to make out but thanks to mariusz for sending that photo from a gig i played recently in tullamore..Dvd clips will be here soon..

From next week 'Heavens Call' will be able to be downloaded from this site free of charge.The reason for this is it is sold out and there are no more copies going to be printed.I get many people looking for the album and i dont have the time at the moment to be sending anymore copies and i would like for the album to get out to as many people as possible in order to get as many new fans as possible for the release of the next album.I hope this doesnt offend all the people who have already bought the album and that they understand my reason for doing so..Also there will be a major overhaul done on this site with a lot of new photos,sound clips and video clips shortly..

I have been in the studio recently with Thom Cross recording a single.Its a catchy pop/dance/rock number.No solos though :( But i think Thom Cross will be a name everyone will know by the end of this year.But i doubt anyone would recognise my playing.I played at the Thin Lizzy tribute gig which i really enjoyed Good old fashioned rock.Got to meet Bryan robertson and eric bell. And for those of you getting sick of waiting for the new album its moving closer now so keep your patience with me,lol.. Im hoping its going to be worth your wait..

There is now a message board up dedicated to me.What can i say.Im chuffed anyone would want to talk about me and my music,so a big thanks to Des for setting that up. I hope to post some demo's of the songs for the next album here soon..

Alan here.Just a few words to keep everyone posted.. I will be recording a jingle for the 'guitarist' radio show on yasam radio 87.5 fm.Its broadcast from Turkey..

Alan's music will be featured on a college radio station in Carolina,USA.Bringing alans music to an audience of over 1 million listeners through the station.It is broadcast on WQFS 90.9 fm. Thanks to David Oldham for bringing alans music to the stations attention.

"Heavens Call" received airplay in Canada on 'Gaspe radio' and will be getting airplay in Turkey on 'Radyokozmos' hosted by Okan Meric.

Heavens Call received a great review in the American Guitar Mag'2oth CENTURY GUITAR'... -An Otherworldly Listening Experience" It also curiously described the album as Atmospheric Gothic Metal Alan will be doing an interview with them shortly..

Heavens Call has been sold worldwide in countries such as Germany,Thailand,Mexico,Greece,Turkey,Italy,Japan Spain,Brazil,France,Uk,USA,Canada,Scotland,Argentina,Portugal,Norway,Sweden and Israel.

A lot of people ask about the release of my new album and all i can say is i am working hard on it.I want to spend time on it and get it right this time.There was a lot of things i wasnt happy with in Heavens Call that i want to fix on the new album.I now have the time i have badly needed to commit to my music.Hopefully the next album is going to be as good as i hope and that it will be as good as every one seems to expect it to be.I am without doubt a perfectionist and find it hard to be happy with my music but these new songs i am more than happy with.Again they are concentrating even stronger on melody but there will be more than enough shred to keep the guitar heads happy.

I am going to have one complete and utter heavy shred fest on one track named 'STIR IT UP'.But it holds its own on the melody stakes too i think.I cant wait for people to hear the new songs as i feel if they liked the last album they will LOVE this one.

I hope to get the site updated more often and have loads more tabs and clips of the demos for the new album that i need to get posted up.So again,thanks to every one for their support.And i would like to thank those who have not been supportful also.Because only for them i probably wouldnt appreciate the support that i do get to the full extent that i appreciate it now.
